Learn Lead Basics ONLINE For Realtors and Landlords

RI Lead Techs is Rhode Island’s only provider of the Online Lead Hazard Awareness Class. So, if you’re one of them "out-a-statahs" (meaning, you might live in NH), if you live ALL THE WAY OVER in Johnston, or maybe you simply like the comfort of your favorite couch, then this is the way to go.

The Lead Hazard Awareness Seminar is offered online using interactive technology that keeps students engaged and involved in the course. Not only will you see the student controls, but you can also figure out if your equipment and connection will work with the class. We offer this course at all sorts of convenient times. Learn Lead Basics at our East Providence Training Center
We offer the Lead Hazard Awareness Seminar live, up-close, and personal every week.

In person or On Line, Realtors and landlords can take the Lead Hazard Awareness Class for continuing educational credits.  RI Lead Techs is a state approved provider for this course that will help them earn three credits toward their license renewals. This credit is counted for core, appraiser, and GRE credit.

Insurance agents can also earn a credit toward their licensing requirements by taking the Lead Hazard Awareness Class.  The Department of Business Regulation allows us to award three continuing educational credit to insurance professionals.

At RI Lead Techs, classes are taught by certified instructors and inspectors who have decades of landlording experience. We use a variety of hands-on and discussion methods, so the class is as about as entertaining and interesting as a class about lead can be. Learn Landlord Lead Basics on DVD
The Lead Hazard Awareness Seminar is on DVD and can be ordered here for $14.95 plus shipping. Once you've seen the DVD return to our website and take the quizes that will qualify you to order an instant Course Completion Certificate instantly for $14.95. (Realtors, the DBR says that you should be taking the online or inperson version of this course. The DVD version will not get you the CEU's that you need for licensing.)

The Landlord Course Certificate Online

Advanced Lead for Real Estate Professionals
Once you've taken the Lead Hazard Awareness Seminar, you might be interested in learning how lead concerns can have an effect on buying, selling and operating real estate. This 3 CEU course teaches:

• Investors how to negotiate
• Sellers how to prepare
• Property mangers how to prove compliance
• Realtors how to close the deal

Remodeler / Renovator Class
If you are planning on doing some serious construction on lead painted buildings, this course will see you through it safely. It picks up where the landlord class leaves off. If you want to do more than just girly-man spot removal of lead paint, take this eight hour course.

Nuts & Bolts of Independent Clearance Inspection

Are you a newly minted lead inspector technician looking to get started in the field? Maybe you’re a little unsure of where to begin? This non credit training session is excellent for building practical lead inspection skills for independent and licensed inspector technicians.

RI Lead Techs offers three hours of training and an apprenticeship for licensed technicians who want to get started doing Independent Clearance Inspections and are looking to learn the ropes. Although this course is not officially recognized by the Housing Resources Commission or the Department of Health, it is perfect for someone just starting in the lead inspection business, who wants to avoid the "trial and error method" of learning lead inspection.
