Rhode Island Lead Paint Safety Classes
We offer a wide variety of lead paint safety classes for landlords, property managers, real estate professionals, insurance professions using a variety of methods -- traditional, online and DVD presentations.

Remodeler / Renovator Class Notebook and Pen Image
This is the class for EPA compliance in Rhode Island as well as other EPA states. If you are planning on doing some serious construction on lead painted buildings, this course will see you through it safely. It’ll earn you a certificate that you can use to get a Remodeler/Renovator license from the Rhode Island Department of Health.

This license allows you to safely replace windows, to go above the spot removal minimums of the new lead law, and to do any kind of non-mechanical removal of lead based paint. Yes, you can still use this license to do work on your own homes, but now you’ll also be able to hire yourself out as a licensed Remodeler / Renovator who has his own listing on the Department of Health website. We offer this class to landlords and contractors once a month, usually spread over two, four-hour evening sessions. $175.00 including a meal. Payment is required to register.
